NSWOCC Continence Preceptorship

Register Now for Fall 2026

The Continence Care Preceptorship is open to NSWOC Students, practicing NSWOCS and Nurses/Medical professions looking to upgrade their continence care knowledge.

    You will also be prompted to choose your live practicum date during the sign up process. Once you’ve enrolled, you can begin watching the videos immediately.

    After you sign-up we will reach out via email to confirm your date and send Zoom link and details.

    The seminars are limited to 12 participants per date on a first-come first serve basis. Sign up today to secure your spot!

    • Thursday Sept 17th - Open for Registration

    Fall/Winter 2026/27 (Cohort 40 or earlier):

    • Thursday Nov 19th - Registration opens fall 2026

    • Thursday Nov 26th - Registration opens fall 2026

    • Thursday Dec 3rd - Registration opens fall 2026

    • Thursday Dec 10th - Registration opens fall 2026

    • Thursday Jan 14th - Registration opens fall 2026

    • Thursday Jan 21st - Registration opens fall 2026

  • The seminar includes 16 hours of online learning and a one-day 8 hour live practicum.

    As soon as you create an account on our website and purchase the online course you will have access to the videos and can begin learning at your own pace.

    You must complete all online video modules before the Live Seminar.

    There is also a pre-practicum assignment that you must complete before the live seminar. This assignment will require about 3-4 hours of your time and counts towards your pre

    There is a fee for rescheduling or missing your live seminar date.

  • WOC policy is that you cannot accumulate preceptorship hours/credits if you have not at least started or completed the corresponding theory.  

    Please follow this general rule if you are an NSWOCC Student signing up for preceptor hours:

    January start date: Preceptorship can start early March.

    May start date: Preceptorship can start end of June

    Students from previous cohorts can do it anytime.

  • This course was designed specifically as a recognized preceptorship opportunity equivalent to 3 days of continence preceptorship by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Institute.

    While the course was designed for NSWOC Students, many practicing NSWOCs take the course, allowing new and practicing NSWOCs to tap into Sue’s wealth of knowledge in continence care.
